Recorded in 1985, this stunning collection includes ? hymns and ? chorales. Of the 10 pieces, 7 are by Bach with the remaining 3 attributed to Martin Luther. Dr. James Smith is the featured organist on each composition. These pieces were originally produced as part of an audio book for a company ahead of its time called Books for Listening. Founded by Lo-Flo Records’ founder Jane McNealy, along with two colleagues, these songs were intended to be background music for an audio book reading but now shine bright on their own.
